1. Letters to the editor regarding "save the shore" signs. There is nothing
we can do if the sign is on private property. JVD is campaigning outside
the 2024 cycle by placing "Paid for by Jeff Van Drew For Congress" on the
signs. He is demonstrating contempt for local laws by circulating these
thinly veiled campaign signs purporting to be in opposition to clean energy
while promoting his campaign. For discussion; maybe we can reach out to
Orsted for a panel of experts to join Tim at the listening sessions. Or, we
can create a non partisan event for those who just want information.
2. Calendar- Please continue to submit events and places of worship. I
will start populating and T will start visiting next week.
3. Listening series. Several places have been identified and we will call
this week to secure dates. We still need locations in Salem, Cape May and
Ocean. My hope is to have a full schedule by 7/15. As stated above, this is
a great opportunity to discuss wind turbines.
4. Happy to report we have several fundraisers on the schedule! July 19th
is the first in Waretown and we have three on the schedule so far for the
fall.
5. Launch Parties - Tentative date for the first one is July 27th in
Cumberland County and we will have a date and space this week for the east
side of the state. We need as many volunteers to show as possible and bring
your family and friends, even if they are not yet supporting! Ill be
sending out a flyer this week!
