Learn more about what my office has been up to this week Dear john, This week, I was proud to share the news that $500,000 will be awarded to Emory University to fund a nursing apprenticeship program. I was proud to work with Senator Warnock to make this request for funding, and I look forward to hearing of the success of nursing students who will be supported by this program. To learn more about this funding, click here. On Wednesday, we observed National Asking Saves Kids Day. There are simple but effective ways that you can protect children from gun violence when visiting friends or family outside your home. We all have a role to play when looking after the safety of our young people. Thursday, June 29th at noon is the deadline to register for my PACT Act Briefing.
