Global temperatures rose 1.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels earlier this month – for the first time ever in June.

It is very likely that we will continue to break temperature records throughout the summer. But we won't see climate leadership in response to it - instead, more broken promises to take climate action:

❌   The Conservatives have refused to rule out massive new Rosebank oil field in the North Sea  

❌   Labour have said they will not revoke new North Sea oil and gas licenses issued later this year

John, the need for more Green MPs to hold the other parties to account on climate action has never been greater.

We must put an end to disastrous, climate wrecking policies and invest in protecting the future of people and planet. Only the Green Party has the solutions and commitment to tackle the Climate Emergency.
