An America United is about defending our democracy and fighting for common
sense leadership and solutions that put people over politics.



What comes to your mind first when you hear the phrase, "American Leadership?"



Personally, I think of President Ronald Reagan, or my father, Congressman
Larry Hogan, Sr. Both of these men stood for something and had the courage of
their convictions.



Today, I write this to you with hope. Hope that our current leaders can move
past the toxic politics plaguing our political discourse and work to solve more
of our nation's problems.



But this change needs to start from the top...



Minimizing our efforts to help Ukraine, spewing nicknames, and congratulating
deadly dictators like Kim Jong Un is unacceptable for anyone running for
office. Especially from a former president.



This isn't the America that I know and it isn't helping us find a better way
forward.



Our country needs real leadership that will stand up for American values
rather than pandering to the extremist political fringes. That is what we are
fighting for at An America United.
