I’ll cut to the chase. The Biden Administration has utterly failed.
❌ The Biden Administration has failed to secure the border.
❌ The Biden Administration has encouraged parents to send their minor alien children on dangerous trips to the United States unaccompanied.
❌ The Biden Administration has failed to protect these children after they were let into the United States.
The Democrats running this committee have also failed. There was not a single official from Health and Human Services that attended this hearing to discuss the placement of the unaccompanied minors, leaving our questions unanswered.
The absence of HHS is not an accident. It is a decision to protect The Biden Administration from accountability.

During the last year of Trump’s presidency, 30,000 unaccompanied minors entered the United States. As The Biden Administration began, the numbers drastically increased to approximately 107,686 unaccompanied minors entering the United States in 2021 and approximately 127,000 unaccompanied minors entering the United States in 2022.
The result of the open borders is what The Biden Administration is avoiding.
HHS admitted that it received $7.8 BILLION last year just for unaccompanied minor children, but could not contact approximately 20,000 minor children it placed in 2021… Then in March 2023, HHS failed to account for 85,000 previously placed alien children… it just lost them!
Earlier this year I joined my colleagues to address the HHS failures, where we highlighted the facts that The Biden Administration loosened vetting, fired HHS staffers who filed complaints and ignored HHS contracted organizations who voiced concerns.
This is a humanitarian crisis and a man-made crisis produced by political decisions from the White House.
