Let’s be blunt, John: Republicans want to take away your right to an abortion.

They won a major victory last year when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Now, dozens of states have enacted partial or total abortion bans. But Republicans still aren’t satisfied.

They’re going after FDA approval for the most common method of abortion in the country: medication abortion. If mifepristone loses its FDA approval, it will immediately become unavailable across the country — even in states where abortion is protected.

But it STILL doesn’t end there. Both Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy have made it clear they want to pursue a national abortion ban.

Republicans won’t rest until all our rights are stripped away. So we can’t rest, either.

We’ll be straight with you: It’s been a long, discouraging, and mentally-draining year. Bad news story after bad news story, new bans or draconian bills popping up all the time. It can be easy to get cynical or check out completely. But we’re counting on you to do the opposite.
