Today marks one year since the Supreme Court’s right-wing majority overturned Roe v. Wade .

Lauren, our campaign, this team and millions of Americans continue to speak this truth to power >>> ABORTION IS HEALTH CARE. PERIOD.

As we all know, Republicans have been scheming for decades to strip women of the basic freedom to make their own decisions about their lives, bodies and futures. Following the devastating Dobbs decision last year and the overturning of Roe , they’ve continued their crusade toward criminalizing women and reproductive health care providers and enacting a federal abortion ban.

We’ll say this in a way that the Republican Party can understand: We have not and will not lose our power, our hope and our drive to gain back our hard-won rights. Not one year ago, not today, not tomorrow — not ever.

Democrats continue to be united behind legislation to protect access to reproductive care and our team, along with advocates across Illinois and nationwide, are committed to keeping the GOP from gaining any more seats in Congress so they can further roll back our rights.

We didn’t retreat when Roe was overturned, and we certainly will not back down now. That’s why we’re asking: Will you pitch in to protect IL-14, help elect pro-choice Democrats at all levels and take back the House?
