This week has been all abuzz with talks of the budget. Governor Josh Shapiro and the Democrat-led House of Representatives are sparring and negotiating with the Republican-led PA Senate over budget proposals.
Meanwhile, the deadline to pass a budget looms closer and closer. Under state law the legislature must pass a budget by June 30th. Although, what actually happens if the budget isn't finished by then isn't clear.
Josh Shapiro and the Democrats are trying to increase spending again and Republicans are fighting to limit the out-of-control spending in the PA House.
PAGOP continues to register new Republicans, build our party, fight the left, and urge our Republican legislators to stand strong in the face of pressure from the Democrats. We must stand by our conservative principles of fiscal responsibility and free markets!
