One year ago today, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and gave states the green light to ban abortion.

Make no mistake: Abortion is still legal here in Montana. Our state constitution protects it. But Montana Republicans have been relentless in their fight to outlaw abortion once and for all – and they’re not slowing down.

Republican politicians in Montana pose a grave danger to women’s health care across our state – and John, we need to make sure every voter knows the stakes when they go to the ballot box in 2024.

This is what we’re up against here in Montana.

Governor Greg Gianforte signed a wave of abortion restrictions into law this year, including a 15-week ban on abortion.

Senator Steve Daines is the cosponsor of a national abortion ban.

Rep. Matt Rosendale has repeatedly supported bills that are a “complete or nearly complete ban on abortion.”

Rep. Ryan Zinke voted for an abortion ban in Congress.

Attorney General Austin Knudsen is fighting to overturn the Montana Supreme Court’s landmark 1999 decision that has kept abortion protected to this day.

Our best shot at ending the GOP attacks on abortion rights is by re-electing Jon Tester to the U.S. Senate and electing pro-choice Democrats across Montana in 2024. And John, we’re going to need a lot of help and a lot of donations to make it happen.
