One year ago today, 5 far-right judges on the Supreme Court upended 50 years of legal precedent, forever altering the fundamental right to reproductive freedom.
In the year since the Dobbs decision, far-right state legislatures across the country have passed into law horrifically cruel and draconian bans on abortion, reproductive healthcare, forcing patients to carry nonviable pregnancies to term.
Through all of the darkness, there is still hope though. Polling shows that reproductive choice is approved by an overwhelming majority of Americans, approval ratings for the Supreme Court are at historic lows, and in deep-red states like Montana, voters have voted down draconian laws that would limit reproductive healthcare and access to abortion.
But we know that there is still much work to be done, and our fight for reproductive choice in this country is far from over. If you’re with us in this fight, then we’re asking you to add your name to our petition to show Congress that you stand on the side of reproductive freedom. »
To show extremist Republicans that you will fight tooth and nail to elect pro-choice Democrats up-and-down the ballot, and that we won’t rest until their far-right bans are overturned.
