Do you remember where you were when you first heard the news?
I remember I was sitting in a morning staff meeting when the word came through: “In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade!” Can you believe it’s been a whole year since the Dobbs decision was released? I know so many of you prayed for years for a day exactly like the one you and I experienced last year. And how amazing is it that God has answered that prayer?!
But the battle to protect life didn’t end there.
Every day Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry try to find new ways to increase access to abortions nationwide. That’s why pro-lifers who understand that babies remain in immediate danger must continue to fight back each day. Lives are still on the line, even on the one-year anniversary of Roe being overturned.
But to remember this historic moment from a year ago, I want to share something with you that I know will encourage you.
