Today marks the first anniversary since the Supreme Court’s dangerous decision to overturn Roe v. Wade .

Last year, extremists on the Court shredded decades of precedent and threatened the health and freedom of millions of Americans in Dobbs. And for anti-choice MAGA Republicans, overturning Roe was just the beginning. They won’t stop until they pass a nationwide ban on abortion.

Let’s be very clear: this fight is far from over. We will not give up – and we will not give in. It’s time to fight back.

That’s why I’ve introduced the Ensuring Women's Right to Reproductive Freedom Act alongside Reps. Lizzie Fletcher and Jamie Raskin. My bill will protect Americans who are traveling out of state to get access to safe and legal abortion. No one should face punishment for seeking the care they need.

The GOP may have stripped women of their right to make their own medical decisions, but they cannot stop the constitutional right to travel.
