Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade

Whitehouse for Senate

Team,

After right-wing megadonors spent hundreds of millions to stack the Supreme Court with anti-abortion justices, it all paid off for them when the Court trashed precedent and rescinded the right to abortion one year ago today.

Abortion protections that had been in place for almost 50 years were ripped away from women in the blink of an eye.

In the year since, we’ve seen states across the country enact laws restricting abortion or banning it completely. The fallout has been devastating and very real for women who now have fewer freedoms than their mothers did.

Emboldened by the Supreme Court's decision, Republicans have been talking about a national abortion ban that would outlaw abortion, even in states like Rhode Island. But Democrats are fighting back. We’re committed to expanding our control in the Senate next year and codifying Roe v. Wade into law. If you’re with us, add your name now >>

If Republicans take the Senate in 2024, not only could they very well pass a national abortion ban, but they would grab control of the Supreme Court nomination process and push the Court even further to the right.

This day is a reminder of how high the stakes are. We have to end special interest control of the Court and hold on to our Senate majority so we can restore women’s rights.

Add your name now to commit to electing more Democrats to Congress and codifying Roe into law.

We can do this.

Thank you,

Sheldon
