John,
One year ago today, SCOTUS issued the Dobbs decision, striking down Roe v. Wade and unleashing anti-abortion Republicans in states across the country to do what they’ve been working to do for decades: take away access to abortion.
If you remember how you felt when the news broke and are ready to recommit to the fight to elect pro-choice state legislators, will you make a monthly gift of $20.23 or anything you can to support our work at Sister District?

Now, just 12 months later, every single state in the South has a GOP abortion ban — except Virginia.
But, if Republicans win big in state legislative elections this year, conservative Governor Glenn Youngkin has already promised to support a 15-week abortion ban, putting reproductive freedom for Virginia and the entire region on the line.
That’s why right now, Sister District is organizing, mobilizing, and making huge investments in Virginia candidates because we know this is one of the most crucial state-level fights. But given this election’s importance, we know Republicans in Virginia and nationally are likely to spend a lot to ensure they win total control of the state.
So today, on the one-year anniversary of the devastating Dobbs decision, will you help us fight back by making a monthly gift? If you can’t commit monthly, please consider making a one-time gift.

None of us want to wake up on November 8th wishing we had done more to help protect abortion access in Virginia and the South, so let's give it everything we’ve got.
In solidarity,
Sister District
