It’s been exactly one year since the Supreme Court struck down the federal right to abortion.
Abortions have been fully banned in 14 states. In New York, the NY Abortion Access Fund has seen its operating costs quadruple in the last year as it provides support to people from 29 different states traveling to receive abortion care.
It’s high time we codify Roe. Outlawing abortions won’t make them go away — it only makes them dangerous and expensive.
