Today marks one year since the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade. In the last year, states all across the country have introduced and passed restrictive abortion bans which are dangerous for both patients and doctors.
In Kansas, voters overwhelmingly voted to protect reproductive rights last August. But that hasn’t stopped anti-choice extremists from trying to take down our rights:
In Congress, Sharice continues to hold the feet of anti-choice Republicans to the fire, forcing the issue again on this anniversary. And still, despite the majority of Americans supporting reproductive rights, not a single Republican in Congress will stand with us.
There’s a movement that will not rest until abortion is banned in every single state, which is why we must be vigilant and fight back.
