One year ago, the Supreme Court released their Dobbs v. Jackson decision, overturning Roe v. Wade and striking down the protections of Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

At this moment, there is no option but to renew our fight for reproductive rights. 20 states currently have partial or full abortion bans leaving people without abortion access and critical health care including cervical cancer screenings and family planning services. 

Abortion is still legal in Pennsylvania, but legal abortion is the floor. Summer is fighting for legal, safe, AND, accessible abortion. 

According to the Guttmacher Institute, in 2017, some 85% of Pennsylvania counties had no clinics that provided abortions leaving millions without accessible care. That is unacceptable. 

Summer is working to protect abortion access and expand the full spectrum of reproductive justice and rights — including pushing for a living wage, health care for all, and labor rights. It's critical we codify Roe, pass the Women's Health Protection Act, and repeal the Hyde Amendment, so we're asking:

It is unconscionable that six unelected justices went directly against the majority of Americans who want access to safe, legal abortion — and they're not stopping there. 

Abortion access is one of several fundamental rights under attack in the U.S., including the right to vote, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, and others intertwined with our right to self-determination, in which Roe v. Wade was grounded.

Last November, voters came out in waves to send a clear message to far-right politicians that we won't accept their draconian policies. Now, we need to keep this fight up.
