A year ago today, a right-wing majority on the Supreme Court acting more like politicians in robes overturned Roe v. Wade.

Since then, 25 states have significantly restricted or banned abortion, and Republicans are not done yet. They’re still pushing legislation in states to further restrict or completely ban abortion, and Republicans in Congress will pass a nationwide ban the first chance that they get.

We cannot let that happen. That’s why it’s so important that we reelect Chris and hold the Democratic Senate majority.

Republicans and their right-wing justices may think they’ve won for now. But the truth is clear. The American people see them clearly as politicians in robes. The Supreme Court is engulfed in controversy, and public trust is at an all-time low. That’s why Chris has led the effort for a decade to pass his Supreme Court Ethics bill and demand accountability.

Meanwhile, we are seeing more Americans than ever identify as pro-choice, and voters are rating the importance of abortion rights to their vote at record highs.

So we won’t back down. The fight for abortion access is a righteous one. But it’s going to require federal action.

Chris will not hesitate to abolish the filibuster and codify abortion rights into law nationwide. But that means he needs our help to win reelection and hold Democrats’ Senate majority.
