There are so many things that set me apart from George Santos, but few of them piss me off as much as his willingness to hurt dogs and scam veterans.

You might remember that Santos raised money to have a 10 pound tumor removed from Sapphire, a homeless veteran's dog. Do you know what he did next?

He took the money – more than $3,000 – and ran.

Let's make a couple of points crystal clear:

  1. Our veterans deserve our appreciation and respect. To decent people, the chance to help a veteran is an honor. To George Santos, it's an opening for a new grift.
  2. You just don't mess with a person's dog. Ever.

We're building a grassroots movement of honest, hardworking folks like you to make sure Long Island and Queens elect the service-minded representative this community deserves.

As a Nassau County Legislator working on veterans' issues, I've seen the critical role dogs play for veterans as they transition to civilian life or pick themselves back up after hard times.

Josh and his dog Fresco

And as the proud owner of Fresco, this curly-haired goofball, I've experienced firsthand the way dogs can keep our spirits up in the toughest times.

George Santos is a heartless grifter, willing to stoop so low as to exploit a man's love for his dog. And when I replace him in Congress, I'll act with kindness and care for the people (and pets) of the 3rd district. If you're eager to stand up to George Santos, chip in $3 right now and let's send him packing in 2024.
