Today marks one year since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and ended the protected constitutional right to access an abortion.

The decision to overturn Roe was once unthinkable, but now we know what can result from a GOP-controlled government. In the last year, state legislatures nationwide have enacted strict and catastrophic abortion bans that have taken away millions of Americans’ access to reproductive healthcare.

We know that MAGA extremists in the House want a nationwide abortion ban, and there’s no telling what they’ll do if they win the House again in 2024. My toss-up district is one of a handful that will determine House control in next year’s election.

We MUST regain our Democratic House Majority in 2024 to keep abortion safe and legal for all Americans.
