Hello -

It’s the one-year anniversary of the right-wing Supreme Court’s terrible decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. We can’t undo all of the chaos and tragedy that decision has created in the lives of women and their families.

But we can fight back, and that’s why I’m writing you today.

Please, on this important anniversary, will you add your name and join me in fighting for reproductive freedom? Before another year passes, we urgently need to stand up for women and their families. [[link removed]]

It’s this simple: Women deserve to make their own health care decisions. The decision to have an abortion is a deeply personal one. A judge or politician should never be the one to decide.

Every day, we see right-wing extremists escalating their push for dangerous abortion bans. They’ve shown over and over again that they’re willing to ignore the will of voters to get what they want.

In 2022, Michigan showed what's possible when we passed a historic ballot initiative that put reproductive freedom in our constitution. Women in every state deserve that freedom too, and if we stay united, I know we can deliver that victory.
