For 50 years, women in America had the right to make their own personal health care decisions. And in a single day, 5 judges put those rights on the chopping block by handing those decisions over to politicians.

Women are now growing up with fewer rights and freedoms than their mothers and grandmothers, and we know this burden is being disproportionately carried by low-income women and women of color.

I’ve always believed women — not politicians — should be able to make their own health care decisions. Just ask my wife Connie, who only agreed to go on a date with me after she checked my voting record to ensure it was 100 percent on women’s rights.

It’s only been a year, and the attacks on reproductive freedom and abortion access have been even worse than we feared. Twenty states have restricted or outright banned abortion, and more are trying to follow suit — including right here in Ohio.

But here’s the thing: Polls show the majority of Americans support reproductive rights. And every time abortion access has been tested at the ballot box, it's been protected with overwhelming support.

GOP lawmakers in Ohio are so scared of this fact that they’re doing everything they can to stop the pro-choice organizers who are fighting to enshrine abortion access in our state constitution.

I’ll never let up in this fight, but I need your help to show the GOP how absolutely out of touch they are on this issue. That's why I’m counting on 10,000 folks to speak out by midnight tonight, but I'm missing your response, friend. So please, tell me now:
