Hey Friend,

It’s been a year since the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe V. Wade and we’re still furious.

In Nevada, the right to abortion is protected in statute because of the hard work of community activists, organizers, and Nevada voters who passed a referendum in 1990 affirming the right to an abortion. Nevada will now become a safe haven for women in states that have now outlawed abortion — and it’s on us to protect them and our access here at home.

This session, we saw fantastic pieces of legislation to protect abortion access here at home and for our neighbors who may seek care here if they cannot in their states. Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro introduced SB 131 to protect care providers here in Nevada. She also introduced SJR 7 to codify abortion protections in our state.

Abortion is an essential form of health care. And we will continue yelling that far and wide for as long as we are able.

Will you join our fight today to protect this VITAL care?
