Team,

It has been one year since the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization ruling, which effectively overturned Roe v. Wade, leaving Michiganders unsure about the future of reproductive freedom.

But Michigan Democrats stepped up at this critical time to protect abortion access in Michigan. Voters overwhelmingly approved a constitutional amendment to enshrine reproductive freedom in the state constitution then our state government repealed an archaic 1931 abortion ban.

Although we’ve made great strides since the Dobbs decision, the Michigan GOP is still threatening the right to an abortion. They recently introduced a package of bills that would repeal the right to reproductive freedom and make it a felony to perform an abortion.

Michigan Democrats have proven time and time again that they will continue to fight for abortion rights in Michigan, which is why we need to make sure we keep Democrats in control of the state legislature in 2024.

The Michigan Democratic Party is prepared to help state house candidates win big next year and protect abortion access across the state from Republicans who are set on attacking our rights — but we need your help.

Will you make a contribution today to help the Michigan Democratic Party prepare for 2024 and ensure we elect Democrats who are committed to protecting reproductive freedom? We can’t go backward on the progress we have already made.
