John —
Since the protest that marked the first Pride more than 50 years ago, LGBTQ+ people have continued to demand dignity in every corner of the Commonwealth, the nation, and the world.
While we’ve made enormous strides toward protecting the rights and freedoms of LGBTQ+ people, we must remain steadfast in our commitment to ensure that we don’t become complacent.
This year, anti-equality legislators have launched an unprecedented assault on the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, primarily targeted on limiting the rights of trans people and children.
This session alone, right-wing extremist legislators introduced more anti-LGBTQ+ bills than they ever have before, and it’s more important now than ever to recommit ourselves to our foundational promise — to loudly, proudly, and unabashedly be ourselves.
This Pride Month, I hope you’ll join me in supporting the critical work protecting LGBTQ+ Virginians in every corner of the Commonwealth with a contribution today.
Yours in the fight,
Bryan Price (he/him)
