While abortion is still legal in Iowa, Republican lawmakers have spent years exploiting loopholes in the court’s decision to chip away at Iowans’ ability to freely access reproductive health care.

The Dobbs decision has only further emboldened these lawmakers to continue their campaign to completely ban abortion in Iowa and beyond.
