Friends —
The truth is, I don't want to ask for too much.
But as you know, with the end of the month comes a big FEC fundraising deadline for our campaign. We set an ambitious goal for June after beating our goal in May. This is our chance to keep up that momentum and prove that our movement for a Green New Deal is stronger than ever.
So, if it’s not too much to ask, I’m hoping you can make a $5 contribution today.
If everyone reading this chipped in today, we could make it clear to the billionaires, the oil companies, and the far-right super PACs who stand in our way that we are building a real grassroots movement that is only growing stronger. We would continue to fight with the wind at our backs.
And the thing is, it’s not so much about how much money we raise, but rather how many people make a contribution. Even a contribution of just $5 helps us show the size and strength of this movement — a movement that works day in and day out to fight the climate crisis, promote justice, invest in the working class, and much much more.
There’s no better time to make your first investment in this movement. And as I said, this really is the one thing I can ask of you right now. So please:
Can you make a contribution of $5, or anything you can afford, to help us meet our goal before our FEC deadline closes in less than a week? [[link removed]]
