Help get our message out on the buses this party conference season ? Dear Friend, ? In the run-up to the crucial party conference season this autumn, we want to run bus adverts taking a clear message to the three biggest pro-nuclear political parties that their policies on the UK's nuclear weapons are completely unacceptable. ? |

We want to launch bus adverts in Liverpool, Manchester, and Bournemouth, the sites of the Labour, Conservative, and Liberal Democrat party conferences. All three parties remain shamefully wedded to the policy of replacing the UK's nuclear weapons system. ? We have to get the message out to MPs and party activists, as well as the wider public, that spending ?billions on weapons of mass destruction instead of improving the lives of ordinary people is obscene. ? The text of the advert will read: ? Don't spend ?205 billion on nuclear weapons ? Spend it on jobs, health, energy, education ? Can you help us raise the ?16,000 we need?to run this multi-city bus advert campaign? |
