It's vital that we ensure they have the resources and support they deserve. During a House Appropriations markup this week, I proudly voted for a 5.2% pay raise for our troops—the highest in over two decades. Accountability for the DOJ Hunter would not have gotten this sweetheart plea deal if his last name wasn't Biden. Americans are sick and tired of this White House weaponizing the federal government for their own gain. It's time to get politics out of the DOJ and end this two-tiered system of justice. Read more HERE Standing Up for our Veterans This week the House passed the Veteran Entrepreneurship Training Act! I'm proud to support this bipartisan legislation to codify the Boots to Business Program and ensure our nation's heroes have to resources they need to grow successful businesses in our communities. As a member of the Appropriations Committee, I proudly voted to fully fund veterans' benefits, including veterans' health care, the PACT Act, and other crucial VA programs.  I will never stop fighting to ensure America's heroes get the care and benefits they deserve from the federal government. Read more HERE Fighting for Your Second Amendment Rights I voted to overturn President Biden's unconstitutional rule that would criminalize the use of pistol-stabilizing braces— a tool many disabled veterans rely on. Securing the Border Another 200,000+ illegal immigrants crossed our southern border in May. As this crisis continues to worsen, the House Appropriations Committee took action yesterday to provide funding to help finish the wall, hire 22,000 Border Patrol agents, and restore border security technology. Holding the Biden Family Accountable Americans deserve answers and the Oversight Committee will continue to use every tool in the toolbox to hold the Biden family accountable and uncover the truth. Read HERE Censuring Congressman Schiff For years, Congressman Adam Schiff used his power as Chairman of the Intel Committee to intentionally lie to the American people about the fake Russia collusion hoax.
