Hi Friend,
Let's talk about what Congressman Stauber is doing to "represent" the 8th District in D.C. In a recent email, he proudly shared he created the “Congressional Hockey Caucus.” While we understand and appreciate the significance of hockey in MN (and we are big hockey fans as well!), we cannot help but express our dismay at Stauber’s choice of priorities.
Despite criticism of his lack of accomplishments, Stauber still chose to focus his time on creating what can only be described as a trivial and wasteful caucus. Instead of passing legislation to help our district, he appears to be treating his position as if he were a fraternity brother, seeking entertainment rather than fulfilling his duty.
As constituents, we deserve better. It's embarrassing that Congressman Stauber, in all his time in office, can only point to the establishment of a caucus as a supposed accomplishment. As hockey fans and residents of the "State of Hockey," we should not be sending a man who cheated during his NCAA hockey finals to Congress. [[link removed]]
