John –
Happy Summer!
While it’s been a tad warm and dry in recent weeks, Summer officially started
this week. We hope you are enjoying some time off and enjoying our famously
beautiful (and humid) summers. Not only has the weather been hot, hot, hot, but
Republicans are on fire and energized for 2024!

Last weekend, the Republican Party of Wisconsin held our annual convention in
La Crosse. Hundreds of grassroots leaders, activists, guests, and elected
officials gathered to mobilize and spark excitement for the upcoming 2024
cycle. The Convention’s theme, “Red to the Roots,” balanced the importance of
preserving conservative traditions and values with the need to improve
Republican approaches and strategy in elections.
Attendees heard from Congressmen Bryan Steil, Tom Tiffany, Derrick Van Orden,
and Glenn Grothman along with Senator Ron Johnson, State Legislative Leaders,
Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu and Speaker Robin Vos, State Treasurer
John Leiber, WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming, special guest Mayra Flores, and
several video messages from presidential candidates throughout the weekend.
The first Mexican-born Congresswoman Mayra Flores (TX-34) made her way to La
Crosse and delivered a heartfelt and inspiring message. Flores reminded
Wisconsin Republicans how important our work is and reminded folks how
important it is to love America. Flores touched on achieving the “American
Dream,” and reiterated how lucky we Americans are. She emphasized that more
Latinos do agree with Republican values and that Democrats not only take Latino
voters for granted but are destroying the wonderful country and dreams every
Latino family works for.
During the panels, a variety of local, state, and federal leaders discussed
some of the most pressing issues including the United State’s economic turmoil,
the UW System’s mission for social justice indoctrination, and the importance
of conservative media. Guests got to hear from a few of our conservative news
folks; Wisconsinites are so lucky to have wonderful conservative media
throughout Wisconsin. These panels discussed the consequences of Democrat
leadership and the importance of conservatives coming together and voting
early, if possible, in the upcoming 2024 elections and beyond.

This week, Republicans on the budget writing committee introduced the largest
tax cut in state history, cutting taxes for hardworking Wisconsin taxpayers
<[link removed]>
by $4.4 billion, including a $3.5 billion income tax cut that will help
Wisconsin families and small businesses! On top of a tax cut, Republicans on
the State Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee voted to investover $1.5
Billion in transportation infrastructure
<[link removed]> in
Wisconsin.
While the Democrats revel in disparaging Republicans as uneducated, recent
studies show that the Democrat approach to academia is incredibly harmful to
student growth. The Democrats' already disastrous education policies were
exacerbated as a result of their decision to shutter schools and force students
to virtual schooling.
Prior to Governor Ever’s school shutdowns, only 43.4% Wisconsin students
graduated with a proficiency in math; 40.9% in reading
<[link removed]>
, and the left’s COVID-19 response has only made these problems worse.
Wisconsin students are not the only ones suffering; our country has seen a
record decline in math scores, and history scores among middle school students
"dropped to the lowest levels ever recorded."
<[link removed]>
Simply put, the Democrat Party is more focused on the Teacher Unions’ votes
than providing quality education and ensuring
Wisconsin students have the tools necessary to succeed.
While the Democrats use our students as a bargaining chip to gain votes,
Wisconsin Republicans recently reached across party-lines for abill that will
increase funding for K-12 education
<[link removed]>
; multiple Democrats voted against this increase in funding. Maybe the
Democrats should focus less on calling Republicans names and more on helping
our students get a real education.
Along with this funding includes $30 million more for school mental health,
$97 million more for special education,
<[link removed]>
and a historic investment for school choice and charter programs
<[link removed]>among the
largest increases since it was created by Former Governor Tommy Thompson.
Reminder: Republicans' approach
<[link removed]> to education works.
Chairman Schimming delivered an important speech; calling for unity as
Republicans gear up to take on the Biden-Harris administration in the 2024
election.
“Let’s send a message to the Democrats in the state that this party is
unified, that we’re principled, and that in this cycle, 2024, we’re going to do
what it takes, you and I, to fire Joe Biden as President of the United States,”
said Schimming as he fired up the grassroots crowd.
With Wisconsin being one of the few crucial swing states, early voting will
be a key factor that can lead to a Republican win. Schimming also emphasized
the party’s determination to do everything within its power to secure more
independent, minority, and youth voters in addition to the traditional
Republican and conservative voting base.
With a wide field of presidential candidates to choose from, Republicans are
confident in their options as the primary approaches. The Democrats on the
other hand are stuck with the same disastrous incumbents.

Did you miss it? This week has been quite the week for the untouchable Hunter
Biden; new information revealed more damning allegations
<[link removed]>
frommultiple whistleblowers
<[link removed]>
“describ[ing] how the Biden Justice Department intervened and overstepped in a
campaign to protect the son of Joe Biden by delaying, divulging, and denying an
ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden’s alleged tax crimes.”
The Bidens' struck gold on their agreement with the Justice Department,
Hunter Biden pled guilty totwo misdemeanor tax charges
<[link removed]> — a deal an
IRS whistleblower described as “special treatment.”
<[link removed]> In exchange for
this plea, Hunter will not have to serve time for obtaining an illegal firearm
– funny how the Democrats change their tune when one of their own improperly
purchases a weapon.
The White House is even commenting on Hunter
<[link removed]>
, so it’s about time Mr.President also comments on theoverwhelming evidence
<[link removed]> that shows that Biden
knew about his family’s illegal activities. The millions
<[link removed]>
andmillions <[link removed]> clearly go
beyond Hunter Biden’sgreasy business
<[link removed]>. Biden has a lot
of questions to answer..
Republicans, including Senator Ron Johnson
<[link removed]>
, will continue to expose the Biden family for their corruption and advocate
for accountability. Under no circumstance will the Republican Party allow the
Biden Family dealings to go unanswered
HELP US LOCK UP HUNTER BIDEN!

<[link removed]>
Did you miss it? WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming will be asking Republicans to
“bank your vote” early for the next year and a half.
Along with maximizing our turnout, the Republican Party along with the
Republican National Committee will be working tirelessly to ensure Wisconsin
voters have fair and transparent elections.
What can you do? In the next few months, we need as many folks as possible to
sign up to be poll workers!

ICYMI: Tammy Baldwin lives in glass houses, throws stones
<[link removed]>
Tammy Baldwin is seemingly unfamiliar with the saying, “those who live in
glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. In case you missed it, career politician
Baldwin’s hypocritical rhetoric was on display again recently. The politician
who has spent her career living off taxpayers’ wallets recently took shots at a

The cold hard truth of the Biden-Baldwin agenda

Wisconsin Democrats met in Green Bay for their annual state convention. As
