Our profession has been villainized and defunded, and this has caused many men and women in law enforcement to leave their profession, making it very difficult to hire and retain officers. Every major metropolitan area has had an increase in violent crime, drug trafficking, human trafficking, and the homeless population is exploding. City residents fear walking their streets because their communities are dangerous. Liberal prosecutors have failed the citizens of these communities by not upholding the rule of law and prosecuting these dangerous criminals. This, combined with the current administration's policies on open borders, has caused a significant influx of fentanyl and criminals into our State. We, as elected Kansas Sheriffs, work for the citizens and we are committed to upholding your constitutional rights and liberties. We, as Kansas Republicans, have traditionally held the values of God, family, and country sacred. If we are to be successful in retaining our values, we must stand strong with these values. Kansas has traditionally always been a “red” state, but gains are being made by the Democratic party to destroy these longtime values which we hold dear. To maintain the quality of life and freedoms that we enjoy, we must come together and unify our party for our children and our grandchildren now! However, we will still operate as a virtual office and the phones will be answered and emails returned as normal. Because there was minimal traffic through the office and technology makes this change possible and seamless, closing the office and eliminating the monthly expense makes good business sense. New data shows it's not slowing down anytime soon. What you need to know: New Customs and Border Protection data released shows 204,561 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in May. This is the second highest total for May in 22 years. With more than 6,500 crossings daily, Biden's border crisis is overwhelming the system. This is the first time in history that monthly apprehensions at the southern border have surpassed 150,000 for 27 consecutive months. May's 200,000-plus encounters is a 337% increase from the average number of May apprehensions from 2017-2020. 9,943 unaccompanied children were apprehended. 108,234 illegal immigrants were apprehended from countries outside the Northern Triangle and Mexico, showing that Biden’s crisis is global. At least 125 people on the terror watchlist have been apprehended trying to enter the U.S. between ports of entry so far this fiscal year, a new record. More than 6.9 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border since Biden took office. This includes the 1.4 million gotaways have escaped past Border Patrol into the U.S. Border officials say that the official number of gotaways vastly undercounts the illegal immigrants who make it into the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations estimates that Mexican cartels are now making $13 billion a year smuggling illegal immigrants into the U.S. Illicit drugs are flowing into the country at an alarming rate with only 5 to 10% being intercepted as border officials struggle to contain the smuggling. 2,626 pounds of deadly fentanyl was seized at the southern border in May alone, with much more getting through. The amount of fentanyl seized in May is the equivalent of more than 595 million lethal doses. With the end of Title 42, the Biden administration clearly has been unprepared for a surge in illegal immigration. The bottom line: This is the worst border crisis on record and it is only going to continue to get worse with Biden and Democrats disastrous open border policies and lack of leadership. Republican leaders in Congress will continue to hold Biden and the Democrats accountable for the humanitarian crisis they created.     Conservatively Speaking by KSGOP Chairman Mike Brown The Unacceptable Two-Tiered American Justice System Polling indicates 79% of Americans believe the United States has a two-tiered justice system; one for elite wealthy Democrats and another for everyone else. The rapid erosion of confidence began the downward plunge in public opinion of the DOJ and FBI when the Hillary Clinton laptop/Bleach-Bit/hammer ridiculousness to destroy and ultimately hide 30,000 emails. This played out on a global stage with then-FBI Director, James Comey, playing in politics and opinion versus simply staying in his lane with facts and justice at the forefront. This was a critical mistake and will be forever costly to the FBI’s credibility. That's a terrible shame. These apparent biases, and many examples before and since by those manipulating the legal system, began to undermine the confidence of 4 out of 5 Americans giving a self inflicted black eye to the United States Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Purely Self Inflicted. These are iconic American institutions with decades of non-biased solid work for America that literally sold out, destroying their credibility in a blink simply for Democrat political cover and gains. Doubts and skepticism about the DOJ and FBI persisted through the fabrications and outright lies the Democrats foisted upon America called Russia-Gate. The Democrats, along with the DNC Communications team - also known as the Mainstream Media, beat the drum of this lie for over three years putting America through hell for their political goal of wrecking a Presidency and distracting from the crimes a select few had committed. Earlier this week, DOJ offered Hunter Biden a super-sweetheart deal after Hunter has been under investigation by the House Oversight Committee since 2018 for his family’s foreign business practices, which House Republicans, among others, suspect to be international influence-peddling schemes. The slap-on-the-wrist consequences for Hunter include a misdemeanor charge on two tax evasion charges with a $100K per charge fine and a felony charge for lying on a federal firearms purchase application while trying to buy a firearm. Hunter’s drug abuse was not self-disclosed on the application to obtain a firearm which led to a convicted drug user illegally obtaining a gun. It has not gone unnoticed that gun-control advocates have remained silent on this inconvenient truth. Sadly, the DOJ deal defies many previous legal outcomes, common sense, and the fundamental principle of equal justice. It flies in the face of everyday Americans who know, under the same circumstances, they would not have received such a favorable plea deal. The consequences are so light that the agreement itself, and those responsible, should be held to account for their decision-making process, considering others who don't have the last name of Biden or Clinton face much tougher prosecution and penalties. For some contextual background, former US Senator Joe Biden played a pivotal role in the 1990’s “Three Strikes You’re Out” federal legislation which stiffened the penalties, including incarceration time, which his son appears to have avoided because of his last name. As a comparison, the attorney of Kodak Black, an American performing artist, said he'd never seen a weapons or tax evasion charge like this without substantial prison time. Cronyism reigns supreme in DC. Then there is Wesley Snipes, an American actor, who went to prison in 2008 for failure to pay $2.7M in taxes on $18M of income. He was sentenced to 3 years and fined $5M. He paid his due debt to society and then continued his life. Hunter Biden, who was kicked out of the United States Navy via Administrative Discharge for repeated cocaine use and has a fetish for prostitutes, and is generally considered a “scumbag” according to those who know him personally, is reportedly at the heart of the Biden bribery crime ring. His dad, “The Big Guy” is the former Vice President and serves as the current President of the United States. As POTUS, The Big Guy controls the Department of Justice, which handled the investigation of Hunter Biden. This is a huge conflict of interest for Joe Biden. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Hunter’s deal underscores the GOP’s claims that the DOJ is doing President Joe Biden’s bidding by unfairly prosecuting former President Donald Trump, telling reporters, “If you are the president’s son, you get a sweetheart deal.” And don't forget, the investigation by DOJ included Hunter’s “Laptop from Hell” but was not mentioned by the DOJ according to Hunter’s attorney in an interview. This laptop ostensibly contains important information regarding the Bidens’ $5M bribery payoff from Barisma. In a timing “coincidence”, Hunter’s baby-mamma in Arkansas settled on $5,000/month (down from the $20k she wanted) in child support from Hunter for a child he fathered but now refuses to accept as his own. His family also denies her place as a Biden and her mother has agreed not to allow his baby to use the Biden family name. Joe and Jill Biden never reference or count this new granddaughter when repeatedly asked about their grandchildren. This entire mess is not just a Hunter Biden story. It's also a Joe Biden story. This fact makes it a Biden family story. It points to the complete familial disaster they are, a continuing legal disaster, an organized crime syndicate, an international grifting operation, and it appears, treasonous, for selling out their positions and America for personal financial gain. The DOJ is an embarrassment to America and has been weaponized against anyone who is not an elitist, wealthy Democrat. This results from Democrats having complete control of the White House, Senate and House of Representatives for 2 years but America will not stand for this to continue as was witnessed in the Republicans taking control of the House earlier this year. Now we must get the Senate and the Presidency back under Republican control. Something tells me this Hunter deal was cut simply out of convenience for Sleepy Joe’s re-election campaign, and win or lose, he will pardon his son on his way out the door. Let’s show Joe the out-door sooner than later and get a fully cognitive Republican back in the White House.
