After a heart-wrenching community disaster, business owners should not have to worry whether they can meet payroll or keep the lights on. That is why I worked hard with the Monterey Park City Council, Administrator Guzman, and Governor Newsom to secure the SBA’s disaster declaration so that our community’s small businesses can access critical federal economic assistance. I am so grateful to the SBA, the City of Monterey Park, and PACE for opening this Support Center so that businesses can ask questions and get in-language guidance and support in applying for these EIDL loans. I strongly encourage anyone who thinks their business may be eligible to visit the Support Center and take advantage of this dedicated in-person, one-on-one assistance.
