Team, tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s horrific decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

In that time, millions of Americans have lost the fundamental right to decide what to do with their own bodies. There have been too many stories to count of women being forced to give birth to stillborn babies because Republicans outlawed their right to abortion, of sexual assault survivors being forced to continue a pregnancy, and of women with pregnancy complications facing grievous harm to their health because they were denied access to an abortion.

We cannot allow this status quo to be the new norm, Team. I’m going to keep fighting night and day for Congress to restore the right to choose for every single American, in every single state. But I can’t win this fight alone — it’s going to take all of us.

Anti-choice extremists attacked me with everything they had to try to stop me from winning this seat, and they’ll try anything to stop me from winning re-election. I can’t defeat them without your help. Will you pitch in any amount today to help me keep this seat blue — and bring a pro-choice Democratic majority back to the House of Representatives? Under Kevin McCarthy’s leadership, one GOP bill after another has been introduced to further restrict abortion rights in this country. We can’t let these extremists continue to move us in the wrong direction.

This is about our fundamental freedoms, Team, and it’s also about real-world consequences. More women are facing forced pregnancies and dire health consequences every day because anti-choice extremists control one branch of Congress.

Elections have consequences — and if we’re going to restore the right to choose, we need to win this next one. It’s as simple as that. If you’re able, please pitch in any amount you can and help us defeat right-wing extremists here in Colorado’s 7th District. [[link removed]]
