As much as dads are famous for eye roll-worthy dad jokes ([link removed]) , they’re just as known for doling out nuggets of wisdom. And even if your 6-year-old may not seem to absorb the profoundness of your life advice, it will stick with them as they grow up. Sometimes that advice is given the traditional way, like encouraging them to do what they love. Sometimes it becomes evident in what you ask, like, “How did you make the world a better place today?” And sometimes it can be passed down without any words at all, like your kid recognizing your kindness and striving to match it themself.
