As friends and families make plans to get together in the coming days to celebrate Independence Day, I wanted to highlight the large number of fireworks shows that are scheduled over the next two weeks across Connecticut in celebration of the birth of our nation.

Connecticut's tourism office has compiled a useful schedule of fireworks shows that are happening in every corner of our state.
