Tomorrow marks one year since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and attacked abortion and reproductive rights.

Since then, we’ve seen extremist Republican politicians in red states across the country try to one-up each other with restrictive abortion bans — and they’re only getting worse.

Ron DeSantis signed a dangerous abortion ban into law that puts Floridians’ health at risk. North Carolina’s Republican legislature passed a bill that bans abortions after 12 weeks. Idaho Republicans implemented some of the most extreme abortion restrictions in the country, including trying to stop young people from traveling out of state to get an abortion without parental consent. The list of attacks goes on and on.

It’s clear that a major part of the GOP’s strategy going into the 2023 and 2024 elections is to attack abortion and reproductive rights as much as they can.
