2019 Faith & Family Scorecard Coming Soon

Our Texas Values Action team is working hard to put the finishing touches on our 2019 Faith & Family Scorecard! Our legislative scorecard is an important accountability tool that measures how state legislators performed during the recently completed 86th Texas Legislative Session. It encompasses important legislative activity, including votes and bill authorship/coauthorship, on issues impacting religious freedom, marriage & family, life, and other important pro-family values.

We are also investing in exciting website updates to make the 2019 Faith & Family Scorecard more user friendly, with individual member pages detailing how each legislator voted on key bills. If you have not already, sign up for our Text Alerts to be among the first to know when the 2019 Faith & Family Scorecard is released.

Equipping The Next Generation

This week, Texas Values sponsored a luncheon at Patriot Academy. Patriot Academy is a legislative boot camp for youth, veterans, and citizen activists held at the Texas Capitol. The students learn principles and policy centered around Judeo-Christian values, conservative ideas, and Godly character. Our own Nicole Hudgens, a Patriot Academy Alumni, spoke to students about how important it is to advance family values for the next generation. We are thankful to have the opportunity to help equip the next generation of leaders! Learn more.
