Our prayers are with all impacted families and businesses who are recovering from this weekend's storms. Special thank you to the brave linemen working around the clock to restore power to hundreds of thousands of Oklahomans as well as our first responders who jumped to the scene to help.

Cooling stations have been set up in and around Tulsa for folks still without power – my staff have been volunteering throughout the week to assist. For a list of cooling stations near you, click HERE and be sure to follow the Public Service Company of Oklahoma for power restoration updates. Oklahomans can report storm damages to their properties by visiting damage.ok.gov. As always, stay weather aware by keeping up-to-date with the National Weather Service.

I often say, it’s at the worst of times that we tend to see the best of Oklahoma – and this week is no exception. That’s the Oklahoma Standard. I discussed this in my Weekly Wrap Up which you can watch by clicking the link below.

Climate extremists want to control every aspect of our lives – including what car you drive. That’s why I’m leading a bill to block Biden's EPA from issuing waivers to states like California which seek to ban or limit internal combustion engine vehicles. Americans should be allowed to choose what vehicle is best for themselves and their families, and I will not sit back and allow the federal government to make purchasing choices for consumers in Oklahoma.

Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned the unconstitutional right to an abortion. While this ruling was an incredible step in protecting the unborn, the fight for life is far from over.

Democrats have taken their radical abortion policies to extremes never seen before. That’s why in the Senate, I’m working tirelessly to protect the unborn and save lives by co-sponsoring the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortions Act, Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, Protect Funding for Women’s Health Care Act, and Protecting Individuals with Down Syndrome Act. These commonsense measures prevent taxpayer-funded abortions and ensure the unborn have a right to life – because I believe every child is wonderfully made by our Creator and worthy of life.

I discussed this and much more in my weekly ‘Mullin It Over’ column, check it out by clicking the link below.
