Last night, VoteRiders hosted a virtual textbank to reach out to North Carolina voters with updated information about their state’s new, strict voter ID law. 90 volunteers came together to send 179,056 text messages to North Carolina voters.

It cost VoteRiders $3,581.12 just to send that many text messages. Will you chip in to help cover those costs and ensure we can continue our voter outreach programs at the current pace?

So far this year, we’ve sent 1,397,418 texts to voters in Arizona, Wisconsin, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Each text starts a conversation with a voter about what ID they need to vote, and how VoteRiders can help (free of charge) if they don’t have an accepted form of ID.

We’re not slowing down: We’re planning to reach hundreds of thousands more voters before 2023 is over.
