Stop Handgun Violence and Change The Ref launched Gun Safety-Certified (GSC) today. The symbol was designed by Manuel Oliver and includes the face of his son Joaquin Oliver who was one of 17 students and staff members killed in the Parkland mass shooting on Valentine’s Day of 2018. The GSC symbol is an opportunity for businesses and consumers to take action by using it and supporting responsible companies who show support for gun violence prevention.
