** The Hunt Institute and Partners to Host the 2023 Early Childhood Policy Academy

On June 22-24, The Hunt Institute will host the 2023 Early Childhood Policy Academy in partnership with Saul Zaentz Foundation, Saul Zaentz Early Childhood Initiative, and Stanford Center on Early Childhood. Attendees will hear from resource experts on all things early education.

** ICYMI: The Hunt Institute welcomes new Chair and Vice Chair to Board of Directors
------------------------------------------------------------

The Hunt Institute announced former United States Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez were elected to serve as the new Board Chair and Vice Chair respectively. Secretary Duncan succeeds The Institute’s founder and namesake Governor James B. Hunt, Jr., who served for 20 years as Board Chair. Governor Martinez succeeds the Board’s inaugural Board Vice Chair, Thomas Lambeth.

** The Hunt Institute hosts the 2023 North Dakota Legislators Retreat

On June 19-20, The Hunt Institute hosted the 2023 North Dakota Legislators Retreat in Medora, North Dakota. The Retreat provided legislators with opportunities to engage in constructive conversations about education with leading experts and practitioners from around the country and the state.
