This weekend, ATL DSA is bringing folks together to celebrate #StrikeReady Weekend!✊🌹 Last Friday, the UPS Teamsters voted 97% to to authorize a ⚡NATIONWIDE STRIKE⚡ in the case that UPS fails to meet workers' demands for higher pay and more full time jobs before contract negotiations end on August 1st, 2023.
Join us this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a weekend full of events to support UPS Teamsters and the local labor movement. Plus, make sure to donate to our labor solidarity fund at atldsa.org/solidarity to help fund food, supplies, and other materials for the picket line!

🤝 THIS SATURDAY: General Meeting 🤝

Join us Saturday for Atlanta DSA's monthly General Meeting!
We will hear the latest from our chapter's campaigns and committees, discuss current events in the chapter, and debate and vote on resolutions. All members are encouraged to attend, and interested non-members are welcome! Come out to learn about our efforts to support to local labor movement and Stop Cop City!
This meeting will be held in person, with an informal potluck/social starting at NOON, and business running from 1:00-3:00 PM. So bring your favorite dish, and a friend that's curious about getting involved with DSA.

UPS Teamsters all across the country are gearing up to fight for better pay and treatment on the job when their contract expires on August 1, 2023. If the company doesn’t respond to workers’ demands, they’ll prepare to launch the largest strike in decades. We are calling all Atlanta workers to stand in solidarity with UPS Teamsters this Summer when and if they decide to strike. It’s time to show UPS – when we fight, we win!
Join ATL DSA's Labor Committee and members of UPS Teamsters to learn about their upcoming contract negotiations and what the community can do to support their fight. A Zoom link will be emailed to folks who RSVP. See you then!
