One week ago, the #VAValuesAct passed the House and Senate! We’re still celebrating and so should you. 

We could not have achieved this monumental success without your dedication—thank you! Rest assured, the heavy work is almost complete. Now that the #VAValuesAct is through both chambers, we’re closer than we’ve ever been to protecting LGBTQ people from discrimination in housing, at work and in public places.

However, there’s one more move on the table that we need you to make today.  

As a final step, the bill has to pass through a procedural confirmation process that will send it back through both chambers. We must prevent the bill from losing any momentum.

Help finalize nondiscrimination in Virginia. Send a quick thank-you message to your Senator and Delegate, and urge them to move the #VAValuesAct quickly through these last steps.   

This is the last leg for securing nondiscrimination protections for all LGBTQ Virginians. We know we can count on you. Let’s cross the finish line!
