On Monday, the Trump administration shared their vision for the coming year in the budget they released. This is what they envision for the future of this country:

- An $8.6 billion cut to housing programs in the midst of a housing epidemic
- Hundreds of billions of dollars in cuts to Medicaid and Medicare after pledging to protect the programs in his State of the Union Address
- Billions of dollars in cuts to the Department of Education, including student loan debt repayment programs, as the amount of student loan debt in this country soars
- A 26% cut to the Environmental Protection Agency in the midst of a global climate crisis
- Billions of dollars in cuts to the State Department as the Trump administration barrels towards war

A budget is a statement of values. Donald Trump does not care about the housing crisis. He does not care about our elders or our most vulnerable. He does not care about our children or our climate or our diplomacy.
