3.14 Action, the largest organization dedicated to electing scientists, engineers and mathematicians to public office, just endorsed my campaign for Texas’ 32nd Congressional District. In past years, 3.14 helped to elect Democrats like Dr. Kim Schrier, astronaut Mark Kelly, weatherman Eric Sorensen, and many more to Congress. I’m honored to join the likes of these doctors and scientists as a 3.14 endorsed candidate.

We need the vital voice of trauma surgeons– who have seen firsthand the true human toll of gun violence, lack of healthcare access, and attacks on reproductive rights on patients– at the decision-making table in Washington.
