John, tomorrow is the one year anniversary of the Supreme Court's ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade. When that ruling came down, I called this the fight of our generation — and one year later, that hasn't changed.

In the last year alone, nearly half of all states have passed extreme abortion bans — and many have banned it outright. Millions of Americans no longer have the reproductive rights that they've counted on for decades. They're now forced to travel thousands of miles to access the care they need, which is simply impossible for many.

Today, doctors face felony charges for providing abortions. Today, miscarriages and difficult pregnancies now not only mean grief, but also fear that you could be denied lifesaving care or even criminally charged. Today, the right to choose is a thing of the past for millions.

But there's some good news too: A growing share of Americans supports legal abortion. And during the midterm elections, they marched to the ballot box in droves to reject this extreme, anti-choice agenda. Now, it's up to us to build on this momentum in 2024 so that we can restore reproductive rights nationwide.

That starts with defending our pro-choice Senate majority — but we're facing a "Senate map from hell" in 2024. We'll only be able to win this battle if people like you get off the sidelines and join the fight. So please, will you rush $5 or whatever you can spare now to invest in our pro-choice majority and restore reproductive rights in every single states across the country?

With hope and love,

Kirsten
