John -- This is Christie, the Executive Director at the DSCC. One year ago tomorrow, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, and it's as devastating to so many of us now as it was then.
With the stroke of a pen, the Court greenlit wave after wave of far-right attacks on women’s bodies and freedoms. Overnight, daughters lost the rights their mothers fought tooth and nail for. For folks like you and me, these past twelve months have brought grief, horror, and anger that continues to this day.
But John, I’ve also seen that grief get channeled into action. I've seen it push us all to do more to fight for our rights -- and to hold accountable the Republicans who did this to us.
Now I'm asking you to take action again and stand up for the rights and well-being of the millions of Americans who the Republican Party treats as second-class citizens.
