Friend,

A few weeks ago, Governor Kemp delivered his 2020
State of the State Address – highlighting the major achievements
accomplished during his first year in office, and laying out a bold
vision to continue building a safer, stronger Georgia.

One of his top
priorities continues to be ensuring our state delivers a world-class
education for every Georgia student!

Today, we’re asking you to help
share the Governor’s plan.

Kemp’s education plan for 2020 includes:

Fully funding public school
education for the third year in a row; Dismantling the remnants of
Common Core; Reduce the number of standardized tests our students are
required to take; And giving our educators another well-deserved pay
raise!
Georgia has long struggled to recruit and retain teachers.
During Governor Kemp’s campaign, he promised a $5,000 pay raise to
tackle this issue head on.

Last year, he delivered on a $3,000
raise.. and now he’s working to finish the job!

His proposed budget
includes a $2,000 pay raise for all public school educators. This will
go a long way toward boosting educational outcomes in every Georgia
school.

We all know that our children are our future. That’s why this
issue is so important to Governor Kemp... ALL of these proposals are
aimed at building stronger education system, so that every student is
able to learn and has the opportunity to thrive!
