Americans Will Not Rest Until Abortion is Eradicated From Our Society
- One year ago on June 24, the Supreme Court decided Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, overturning the disastrous Roe v. Wade decision.
- The 50-year struggle to overturn Roe shows how strong and committed the life movement is to protecting babies and their mothers from the evils of abortion.
- No child is disposable, and none should have their life taken away when they have done absolutely nothing wrong and merely need time enough to be born.
- The Heritage Foundation will continue to advocate for pro-life policies that protect unborn life in law, end taxpayer funding for abortion giants like Planned Parenthood, end dangerous self-induced chemical abortions, provide mothers life-affirming options and support—with the ultimate goal of making abortion unthinkable.

George Soros’s Prosecutors Wage War On Law and Order
- The rogue prosecutor movement is dangerous, well-funded, and systematically destroying America’s communities. When these progressive zealots take office, everyone loses, except the criminals.
- On May 16, Matt Dugan, the chief public defender for Allegheny County unseated the incumbent district attorney, Stephen A. Zappala, Jr., in the Democratic primary. The Pennsylvania Justice and Public Safety PAC, funded by billionaire George Soros, contributed the overwhelming sum of money to Dugan’s campaign.
- Dugan promises to use his discretion on choosing which charges to file, divert "low-level, nonviolent cases out of the criminal justice system" rarely ask for bail, give lenient plea offers, and concentrate on violent crimes.
- Enforcing the criminal laws of the state is a sober responsibility. A District Attorney should be devoted to upholding the rule of law. The people of Pittsburgh must now decide who they want in that position.

Determining The True Origins of COVID-19 Is Non-Negotiable
- The Biden administration has missed the June 18 statutory deadline for delivering U.S. intelligence information on the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic to Congress.
- Despite the missed deadline, the information about its origins is becoming clearer. This is due, in large part, to vigorous congressional oversight and the outstanding work of independent journalists in search of the truth.
- Congressional investigators must continue to follow up on the stellar work of these independent journalists, secure sworn testimony from the anonymous federal officials, collect the hard evidence, and finally get to the bottom of the origins of COVID-19.
- Congress should hold the administration responsible to deliver—in full—all of the intelligence information that the COVID-19 Origins Act requires to be released.
- Determining the true origins of COVID-19 is non-negotiable. It is a crucial piece of information we need to avoid a replay of this tragedy, to avoid repetition of our mistakes in responding to it, and to ensure that our country is better prepared to respond to the next global pandemic.
